Excessive use of chemical fertilisers — based on subsidies rather than actual soil requirements — leads to high input costs, soil degradation, low productivity, pollution, and biodiversity loss.

At Balaji Agro Limited, we address these local challenges by promoting Smart Farming — a comprehensive, sustainable approach that includes organic farming, natural farming, mixed farming, drip irrigation, fertigation, composting, intercropping, and permaculture.

We design land-specific sustainable layouts based on soil health reports, climate, and water availability. Our designs mimic natural systems, reducing the need for chemical fertilisers, genetically modified seeds, insecticides, and pesticides.

We also offer Soil Health Reports through our in-house lab, testing 14 key parameters and recommending crop-specific fertiliser doses for over 100 crops.

Our experts provide irrigation and fertigation solutions using solar pumps, drip systems, and mulching films. This helps reduce water usage and improves crop yield. Fertigation allows precise delivery of nutrients directly to plant roots, reducing runoff and preventing soil and water pollution.
